Townstuck
What is Townstuck?
Townstuck is a Homestuck-themed Minecraft build made between 2011 and 2012 by Sopapaya, Crowbawt and Kokizzo (me!). It was built on the Penny Arcade SE++ Survival Minecraft server using versions Beta 1.8 - official release 1.3 on hard mode. The video was filmed from a save file in 1.5 using the texture pack Tooncraft by Puddles.
For those of you unfamiliar with Minecraft, what that means is every block used in this build was harvested by hand through months of in-game mining, shearing, and Nether exploration, while fighting off hordes of hard-level monsters. We were very lucky to have kind friends on the server who put up with our ridiculous project and were willing to trade or donate blocks to our build, however, the vast majority of resources used were gathered by the 3 of us. :)
Townstuck is a labor of love and tribute to something that brought us together and has entertained us all over the years. I’m so happy I can finally share it with you!

The Wreck-It-Ralph fandom is gr8 because you can draw people’s characters as giant bug robot monsters and it’s considered an acceptable thing to do.
